INTRODUCING: Remo’s B.E.S.T Sunday Sandwich

Sunday is traditionally a day for relaxation, spending time with family or friends – or maybe both – and resting yourself before gearing up for the week ahead. It should be a time when you can be carefree. Maybe you enjoy a visit out into the Peak District or a meander around the shops? Maybe a spot of DIY is your prefererred choice to keep the strains of life away from you before they’re foisted onto you the following day.

Remo’s can be the perfect place to begin your Sunday with a delicious Italian inspired British breakfast. The new B.E.S.T. Breakfast from Remo is an gorgeous panini.

A lightly toasted Romano flatbread is filled with Smoked Pancetta, Fennel Salsiccia Sausage and topped with a fresh, free range poached Egg.

All of this is for just £6.50.

I tried one of these delights last time I visited the café on a Sunday and I was in Heaven. I complimented it with a Flat White, but you can make your own unique combination. I recommend getting in early to avoid disappointment because these paninis are extremely popular and we regularly run out before the end of service time.

Remo’s is a great location to start your perfect Sunday. Not only do you get a jump start with the finest coffee in the city, but thanks to where we’re situated, there’s something for everyone, regardless of your favourite way to spend a Sunday.

Walk it

Our prime position at the foot of the A57 (also known as Manchester Road which leads onto the Snake Pass), you’ll be a short journey from the beautiful Peak District. The Snake Pass will give you access to the Ladybower Reservoir and Derwent where the famous bouncing bombs were tested during World War II. You can get to Hope, Bamford, Castleton and Hathersage easily as well as taking advantage of the numerous walks.

Whether you’re off for a day in the countryside, you’re on your way to get some DIY supplies or you’re off for a shopping spree, make sure you visit us and fuel up on delicious food and splendid coffee before you go.

Photofairground takes over Remo’s social media management

I thought it should be for the best if I introduced myself. I’m Matt and I’m taking over the social media management and online presence of Remo’s Café for the foreseeable future. I’m the one who built the website and I’ll be doing the Lion’s share of the social media interaction.

I’ve known Remo for around 3-4 years and in that time we’ve built a solid friendship. I have a photography business called photofairground and I also work as a freelance writer which puts me in a perfect position to write the occasional blog post, add some photographs and get to know you on Facebook, Twitter and TripAdvisor. The Instagram account will still be handled in house so that they can update you on what is going on immediately.

If you have any questions about what I do or if you’d simply like to say hi, feel free to email me at, contact me on Facebook, Twitter or double tap some of my InstaG’s by looking for @photofairground.
